Diary of Mary Jane McGregor of a voyage on the ship "Somersetshire", 20 March-25 June 1883 from Liverpool to Sydney. The diary includes a program of a concert held on board the ship, lists of passengers and sailors, shipboard phrases, fish and birds sighted, poetry, details of the ship's course and recipes. Also includes typescript copies of newspaper reports of the voyage, June 1883, and photocopies of certificates of Mary Jane McGregor.
